Prioritise Your Mental Wellbeing
I am a fully trained and insured practitioner in some of the most effective Talking Therapies, also known as psychological therapies.
These treatments can help you deal with overwhelming problems in a more positive way by breaking them down into smaller parts. Treatments are based on the concept that your thoughts, feelings, physical sensations and actions are interconnected, and that negative thoughts and feelings can trap you in a vicious cycle.
I provide 2 therapeutic approaches:

Solution/Goal based therapeutic approach: I combine Life Coaching, Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and Stress Management techniques which deal with the “here and now”. This is a more directive and structured short-term approach (12 weeks) as it looks as specific current problems rather than how you feel generally or at issues from the past.
You will often have tasks to do between sessions such as keeping a diary or practising the skills learned at the sessions.

Client Centered Approach: I provide this humanistic therapeutic approach, which focuses on personal growth and helping people reach their full potential. Instead of focusing on a person’s problems or symptoms, humanistic therapy helps individuals develop a deeper and holistic understanding of themselves and their experiences, and looks at the whole person rather than just a single area of a person’s life. It is non-directive thereapy, hence usually longer term (around 12-20 weeks).
I donate a percentage of each session's earnings to Mind, a registered charity supporting "Better Mental Health."

What happens at a session?
I provide a you with a safe, non-judgemental and confidential time and place for you to talk about your feelings and behaviours and recognise unhelpful patters to find ways to change the way you think and behave.
Sessions usually last 50 minutes and take place at regular, planned times. They can be in-person or online.
The number of sessions you have will depend on the type of therapy you’re having and your personal circumstances, but I recommend between 12-16 weeks.
